James Drake Helps People In Sports and Music

September 27, 2020

20 years ago, James Drake, well-known sports and science philanthropist, started a major endeavor called the Future Science Group.
Since that time, he has been able to create many charitable initiatives that have greatly changed the sports science sector as well as other industries. He is famous for financing research that dealt with athletes’ brain defects and concussions. This research has changed the way that people look at safe sports practice.
All his charitable endeavors have been made possible by creating the Future Science Group, a publication that deals with advanced scientific, medical, and biotechnical research. Drak is the founder of this imprint and currently operates this group’s advancement of drug research and clinical practice. One of the reasons that he created this group was to better the communication and collaboration between decision-makers, researchers, and clinicians. p
James Drake became concerned after witnessing several athletes getting serious injuries on rugby and soccer fields including when a Tottenham player, Hugo Lloris, got a concussion in 2014. He decided that he would start a foundation called the Drake Foundation. The main mission of this not-for-profit organization is to improve the understanding of athletes getting brain injuries and defects. It also deals with the long-term impact of repeated head injuries,
James Drake has diversified his philanthropic endeavors by entering the music field. In the music field, he has developed the Drake Calleja Field. This trust gives out £2,500 to £9,000 scholarships to talented singers, accompanists, and solo instrumentalists that are aged 18 and older in the classical music field. This trust helps research-level, post-graduate, and undergraduate music students to buy quality instruments. This trust allows them to enter competitions and masterclasses, to attend local, national, and international auditions, to complete recordings, and to continue their studies. It does not ignore the non-classical music field as it does give awards to non-classical musicians and gives them many opportunities to perform.
James Drake has helped people for the last 20 years or more and will probably continue to do so in the future.
