Recently, the third wave of COVID-19 in Thailand was blamed on entertainment venues. They are considered to be the epicenter. Thong Lor, an area in Bangkok, had been infected with the B!!& variant.
There has been evidence to suggest that the B117 variant strain may be 30% to 100% more deadly than other variant strains. COVID-19 has had 23 mutations so far. A study reported in the Lancet, a British medical journal, indicates that thia B117 COVID-19 strain has a higher transmission and reproductive rate than other strains.
