Thai Crime: Thai Police Officer Robbed A Gold Shop and Shot The Owner In Korat

A policeman dressed as a food delivery driver shot a gold shop owner during a robbery at a mall in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Pak Chong district.
The robber fled with gold jewellery worth about 3.5 million baht worth 126 baht.
In the same district, police in Pak Chong and investigators from Provincial Police Region 3 arrested Pol Cpl Anucha Boon-arak, 25, at his home in tambon Khanong Phra.
Pol Cpl Anucha is assigned to Pak Chong police station.
He allegedly admitted to robbing the shop and showed the arresting officers where the gold was hidden during questioning.
The suspect was apprehended after investigators examined footage from the mall’s security cameras, reports said.
Inspectors soon realized the robber looked like Pol Cpl Anucha, and even walked like him, according to Pol Col Manop Phutchong, superintendent of Pak Chong station.
He could not be contacted, so they tracked him down and arrested him.
At around 5 pm, the policeman wearing a pink food delivery outfit allegedly threatened staff at the Yaowarat gold store at Big C’s Pak Chong branch with a 9mm pistol.
Ditsawat Arsaitham, 39, was shot through the left arm during the robbery.
A bullet also entered his back, causing a serious injury.
After fleeing on a motorcycle, the robber fled.
