More Details About Super Robot Wars 30 That Is Coming In October

Bandai Namco released more information about Super Robot Wars 30 through Famitsu. In the video, it was revealed that a new warship and crew are to be featured. There is also more information on the Tactical Area Selection system, which provides a non-linear storyline, unlike most recent SRW games.
In SRW 30, Dreistreger is the name of the original warship. She has a large hangar that can accommodate multiple Super Robots. Mitsuba Greyvalley (voiced by Saori Hayami) will captain the ship, with Reynold Hardin (voiced by Kenji Akabane) supervising as vice-captain. Lian Anbird (voiced by Karin Takahashi) will support the officers.
The protagonist will travel around Earth and Space with the Huckebein 30 mech and the Dreistreger crew to carry out various missions while recruiting characters from featured anime titles. Toward this end, an area selection system called Tactical Area Selection is used. This feature includes the Intermission menu, where the player can upgrade mechs, improve pilot stats, and save the game.
From the Mission List, you can access most missions. Each mission is assigned a difficulty rank ranging from C, B, A, and S. The more characters you recruit and the more you upgrade your mechs, the higher your Total Strength will be matched to the estimated level of enemy strength.
There are also Onboard Missions that mainly consist of simple conversations, but can also reward items. In the near future, MSP (Mission Experience Points) will be used to update facilities inside the Dreistraeger.
However, the Mission List does not contain all missions, as some have to be accessed directly from the World Map. When you click on exclamation marks, you will be able to complete Patrol Missions, among other things. Each time DBD (Dimension Border Distortion) happens, a fairy icon will appear as a limited-time exclusive event. Additionally, you can search for hidden spots on the World Map to trigger special missions that reward powerful parts.
On October 28, 2021, Super Robot Wars 30 will be available worldwide via Steam. In Japan and Asia, it will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
