Game Bits: Battlefield 2042 Beta Coming Soon in September, Another Game Announces Its Release Date

Battlefield 2042 Beta Will Begin in September

According to reports, Battlefield 2042 beta will begin in September 2021. The news was apparently announced after the EA Play Live event.
In a video uploaded by YouTuber JackFrags, he discussed Battlefield 2042 and the newly announced Battlefield Portal. According to JackFrags, he obtained this information at an invite-only event.
JackFrags casually mentioned at the end of the video that the Battlefield 2042 beta will begin in September.
According to GameSpot, the beta for Battlefield 2042 will be available for pre-download on September 3rd. Pre-orderers will have early access to the beta. Supposedly, the beta will begin on September 6th and end on September 11th, 2021.
Battlefield Bulletin, a fan page on Twitter, claims that fake screenshots are being circulated online. While the exact date hasn’t been announced by EA, they also state that the beta will be available in September 2021.
With the cat out of the bag, I am sure that Electronic Arts and DICE will announce a beta date very soon (hopefully). So, watch this space. Are you looking forward to taking part in the Battlefield 2042 beta? Let us know across our social media channels.
Battlefield 2042 will release on October 22nd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Those that subscribe to EA Play will gain access to the game on October 15th, 2021.

RPG Lost in Random Has A Release Date

EA Play Event recently gave Zoink Games’ upcoming action RPG Lost in Random a release date.
Lost in Random, a new adventure game developed by the creators of the 2018 adventure game Fe, was announced at last year’s EA Play event. Lost in Random blends action mechanics and dice battles with a twisted, Tim Burton-esque aesthetic. The following is a synopsis of the upcoming adventure:

“Ruled by an evil queen, the Kingdom of Random is divided into six shadowy realms where life is dictated by cursed black dice. While playing as Even, players will explore the land’s mysterious cobblestone streets, meet its unpredictable residents, and embark on courageous quests to save her sister, Odd, from Her Majesty’s clutches. Together they’ll uncover an ancient tale with a surprising message that is rarely explored in video games: randomness isn’t something to fear, but can be harnessed by accepting it and learning to roll with the punches.”

When can we get our hands on this new adventure? According to last night’s event, Lost in Random will be released on the 10th of September 2021. In a few short months, this gothic adventure will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
