Single-Player Mode Coming To DOOM Enternal Soon

A single-player horde mode is coming to DOOM Eternal. However, it comes at the expense of the multiplayer Invasion mode being canceled.
? DOOM Eternal will get a new single-player horde mode, which should be a lot of fun.
At this point, people don’t know much about the new horde mode, but if there was ever a game made for such a mode, it is DOOM Eternal.
At the expense of the Horde mode, the multiplayer Invasion mode will not be available. In the Invasion mode, players would have taken control of Demons and invaded other players’ campaigns.
Marty Stratton spoke in a development update about the cancellation of the invasion mode in favor of the horde mode.
“We planned to release a free Invasion Mode update for the game, but the consequences of the pandemic and remote working slowed down development,” said Stratton in a statement.
People have also heard and seen how many of you enjoy the range of gameplay and combat in the expansions and master levels.
With these factors in mind, we have decided to redirect our attention from Invasion Mode to creating a new single-player horde mode. We believe this horde mode will offer players more diversity and challenge.
In other good news, it seems like the Battlemode will get some extra love. Battlemode is another multiplayer mode in DOOM Eternal, in which players control demons and face off with a fully armored DOOM Slayer.
The opinion is that, as entertaining as the Invasion mode was, the Horde mode should also be a lot of fun. Especially if the developer, id Software, allows online cooperative play in the future.
While people agree with Re-L, people would also love to see the traditional Team Deathmatch in DOOM Eternal one day.
