GamesAId Benefits 7 UK Charities

A United Kingdom industry charity called GamesAid has given about $85,000 to seven different organizations.
It was donated to the following charities: MAPS, Solving Kids’ Cancer, Everyone Can, Lifeline, Clock Tower Sanctuary, Autistica, and Access Sport Trust.
The aid group recently added new trustees to its board of trustees. Terry Haynes from Studio Gobo and Electric Square and George Osborn from Ukie.
George Osborn joined this organization as a trustee to help continue its vital work and to represent the benevolent nature of the UK games industry to the rest of the world.
GamesAid is a UK-based charity that supports a number of smaller charities that help vulnerable and disabled children and young people.

Tribeca Film Festival Is Going to Honor Games Now.

The Tribeca Film Festival will present an official Tribeca Games Award line-up for the first time.
The following games will be under consideration:

Twelve Minutes
Lost in Random
Kena: Bridge of Spirirs
Harold Halibut
The Big Con

This festival has been honoring LA Noire since 2011.
Founder and CEO of the Tribeca Film Festival Jane Rosenthal believes that one of their missions is to position games and their creators at the forefront of mainstream, artistic culture alongside VR/AR, TV, and film. Through the introduction of Tribeca Games Official Selection, the festival exploits the cross-pollination of these storytellers. She thinks this is just the beginning.
In New York City between June 11th and 20th, 2021, you can attend the Tribeca Film Festival and play these games.
