A Survey Says Gen Z Prefers Games Over TV or Movies

According to a recent Deloitte survey, Generation Z in America prefers video games to television or movies.
Gen Z is an American group born in the 1990s, and their ages range between 14 and 24 in 2021. Every generation is different, but what sets Gen Z apart is their love of games rather than film and television. In Deloitte’s survey, 20 percent of Gen Z prefer gaming over any other type of media. 67 percent of Gen Z play games weekly or daily.
With younger generations not feeling the magic of TV, only ten percent of Gen Zers like TV. Older generations like TV as much as 35 percent of the baby boomer generation.
A 67-year-old female gamer became familiar with the games Days Gone. She helped Reddit attain their first platinum PlayStation trophy.
Video games tend to appeal to a younger audience. In the future, older gamers could declare their love of video games in future surveys.
