A Philipino Institute Warns That Taal Volcano Island Is Forbidden To Go To

As reported by the US Embassy in Manila, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) has warned that there has been an increase in seismic activity for the Taal Volcano.
Taal Volcano is currently at Alert Level 2 (increased unrest). This institute is constantly assessing what happens on the ground and will alter the level at any point when things change.
When Taal Volcano Island is at Alert Level 2, there could be earthquakes, a sprinkle of ashfall, or expulsion of gas. The community does not have to evacuate.
If you looked at a map, you would find this island is about 100 km south of Manila on the island of Luzon. The Institute has designated this island as a Permanent Danger Island. This means that it is forbidden to enter this island, especially near the Main Crater and the Daang Kastile fissure.
